3 Wheel Double Buggy

Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies begin as single pushchairs. However, some can be converted to accept the second seat using adapters. You'll also see that some models will allow you to add a ride-on board to older children who would like to walk but still need some help.
For a lightweight alternative that's ideal for city streets, take a look at the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to maneuver, and it has a large basket that is full of storage. It can accommodate twins from birth and will accept two car seats or an infant carrycot and seat. The seats are required to be facing forwards, and there's not enough space for a shopping bag underneath which is why you'll need a sidepack for this.
If you like to take off-road trips then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a good choice. It's a side-byside model with the smallest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. It is easier to get through narrow doors on public transport, and to climb over and over kerbs. It also has a handbrake on the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.
Another lightweight choice is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double, which can be used for twins or a baby and toddler. The seats come with multi-position recline and UPF 50+ sunshades, and the canopy can be adjusted to keep the sun from your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can even be transformed into a triple with the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack board designed for mobile older children.
The iCandy Orange is one of the most sought-after double buggies that are available due to its outstanding comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension, which makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It comes with 30 different seating options, a built-in board for older children who prefer walking, and a "cinema mode' that raises the back seats to provide better visibility.
Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from the beginning that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3!) in various configurations. This is especially useful when you have a child in a car seat, because the frame can be fitted with a wedgie for optimum lie-flat positioning, or car seat adapters to a wider range of brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easy you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is essential because babies feel every bump in the road, especially if it's on rough terrain like grass or unpaved paths. Certain models come with locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres that give you a great all-terrain adventure, but they could be prone to punctures, so make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres which are designed to cushion bumps. They are less likely to puncture, but they could be uncomfortable for your child if you decide to jog.

MFM reviewer Kath tested the Urban Glide 2 through its tests with her newborn and 3 year old son, and found it was able to handle tricky terrain: "it navigated effortlessly over bumpy pavements and grass dirt tracks, cobbles and cobbles with ease and was easy to manoeuvre around corners and get up and down kerbs. The 16" rear wheels, combined with the lockable swivel wheel on the front, create an extremely safe jogging experience. Folding
A three-wheel double buggy can be folded up in a neat manner for storage. There are options that fold flat, stand up (as though they were in the form of a pushchair) and those that open to reveal a more umbrella-style folding with the option of a hand-operated break. The more wheels the buggy has, generally, the easier it is to maneuver through rough terrain. This is especially true if the wheels are bigger than the typical size. You will have more stability, and it is less likely that you will need to tip over or flip your child.

This is one of the most comfortable double buggies to run with your children. It features an adjustable front wheel that locks, that will allow you to maintain control on hills or off-road terrain. It also has a spacious undercarriage basket, a movable handlebar, and a soft suspension to ensure a comfy ride.
This is a light compact and compact option that folds easily with one hand. It's perfect for traveling. It's compatible with an extensive variety of infant car seats, and comes with an undercarriage basket that can be pulled out that can be used to stash shopping. It's a bit on costly side, but has several distinctive features that make it a great option for value, such as its simple one-click fold, and numerous extras, such as a bumper bar and raincover.
Storage
One thing that people love about a quality 3-wheel double buggy is the storage capacity. Certain models, such as the Roma Atlas, have a large basket as well as two zip pockets on the hood where you can store your phone and keys. It is also designed to handle slightly rough terrain which makes it a great option for family walks and all-terrain hikes.

It's the smallest side-byside double available. It also features amazing technology, like LED visibility lights which are located on both sides of its frame to improve safety during low-light situations.
